AI Agent Credits and Overage

AI Agent usage is governed by a predefined amount of plan credits selected by your organization. As the AI Agent processes interactions, credits are consumed based on usage. By default, AI Agent activity stops when all credits have been consumed. 

To prevent AI Agent interruptions, you can enable overage, which allows the AI Agent to continue running and charges for additional credits beyond your plan.


Requirements and notes

AI Agent usage is based on plan credits. When your available credits are used, you can choose whether your AI Agents stop running or continue using overage.

  • Pricing is based on a monthly plan.
  • Credits are shared across chat and voice interactions.
  • Implementation and customization fees may apply.
  • Credit consumption depends on the interaction type and usage volume.

How interaction credits work

Interaction credits are consumed as your AI Agent processes conversations. Different types of interactions use credits at different rates.

  • Standard chat message: 2 credits
  • Premium chat message: 4 credits
  • Standard voice call: 10 credits per minute
  • Premium voice call: 20 credits per minute

Credits are deducted automatically based on usage across all enabled channels.


Mix and match usage

Your interaction credits can be used across chat and voice in any combination. Combining AI usage allows you to prioritize messaging, voice, or a balance of both, depending on your business needs.

For example, a higher volume of voice interactions will consume credits more quickly than chat-based interactions.


Plan tiers and included credits

AI Agent plans are offered in multiple tiers based on the number of included interaction credits.

  • 20,000 credits
  • 40,000 credits
  • 60,000 credits
  • 100,000 credits
  • 150,000 credits
  • 200,000 credits

Each plan supports a mix of chat messages and voice minutes based on how credits are used.


What happens when credits run out

When all included credits are used, AI Agent activity will stop unless overage usage is enabled. Overage usage allows your AI Agents to continue operating after your included plan credits have been used.

Overage disabled (default): AI Agents stop running when credits are used. 
Keep overage disabled to strictly control usage and avoid additional charges beyond your plan.

Overage enabled: AI Agents continue running, and additional usage is billed. 
Enable overage to avoid interruptions to your AI Agents, especially in customer-facing or time-sensitive workflows.

If overage is enabled, additional usage will be billed. If overage is disabled, AI Agent activity will stop once your credits are exhausted.


How to enable or disable AI Agent Overage usage

You must be an Office Manager to configure AI Agent preferences. 

  1. Log in to the AI Agent portal with admin credentials.
  2. Go to the Usage page. 
  3. Select Edit in the Overage section.
  4. Toggle Allow overage usage on or off.
  5. Click Save.
