Prioritizing Answering Rules

The Sonar system operates 24/7/365 to ensure every call is handled correctly. If no other rule is active, the Default Answering Rule will automatically enable Sonar's "After Hours."

To ensure the correct rule is applied, arrange your Answering Rules by specificity:

  1. Use the arrow buttons (on the left side) to drag and reorder your Answering Rules in top-down priority.
  2. Place rules with more specific Time Frames at the top (e.g., "Monday 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM"). Broader time-frame rules should appear lower on the list.
  3. Leave the Default at the very bottom.
  4. Click Save to update your Answering Rule priority list.

Answering Rule Priority Success! 

You will see a green reprioritization success notification at the top of your page.
