Music on hold can be an important introduction to your place of business. Often, it is the first impression someone will have after calling in. It's ideal to have your music-on-hold (MOH) reflect your business, whether professional, fun, or somewhere in between.

How to Add Music on Hold 

You must be in Manage Organization to access the Music on Hold tab. 

1. Log in to the Sonar portal with Office Manager credentials. 
2. Click the Music on Hold tab. 
3. Click Domain, or click the pencil icon to edit your Domain MOH. 
    
4. Ensure that the toggle for Enable Music on Hold is set to Yes. 
5. Click the Add Music button.
6. Click Browse and select the .wav or .mp3 file you want to upload. 
7. Name your music on hold with a unique identifier, so you can recognize it in the future. 
8. Click Upload to save. 
   

Pro tip: Prioritize Sound Files for Multiple Uploads! 

If your organization has multiple songs or sound files, click and drag the arrows in front of the song to move it up or down in the list. Moving them up or down places them in the desired order of play. Files at the top have higher priority.

Alternatively, you can choose to randomize the music listed. 

 

How to Delete a Music On Hold File 

To delete a file, simply click the trash bin icon and confirm Yes to delete.
