Attention: "Overwrite with Site Defaults" must be enabled per-user for automatic updates!
Sites are assigned per user within individual profile pages; to automatically update the music on hold for all the users within a site, you must enable Overwrite with Site Defaults.
How to Add Music-on-Hold for Individual Sites
You must be in Manage Organization to access the Music on Hold tab.
- Log in to the Sonar portal with Office Manager credentials.
- Click the Music on Hold tab.
- On the left side, search for the name of the Site.
- Click the Add Music button.
You can also add an introduction message that will play before your music. Learn more about Improving Automated Call Handling with Introductory Greetings.
- Search for the audio file (.wav or .mp3) and select.
- Give your upload a recognizable name.
- Click the Upload button.
Pro tip: Prioritize Sound Files for Multiple Uploads!
If your organization has multiple songs or sound files, click and drag the arrows in front of the song to move it up or down in the list. Moving them up or down places them in the desired order of play. Files at the top have higher priority.
Alternatively, you can choose to randomize music.
