Sonar Phone is a browser-based webphone that allows you to make and receive calls directly from a web browser with full mobile app functionality—no desk required to connect to your business contacts.
Getting Started
Sonar Phone is available for all net2phone Canada users—simply log in to the Sonar Client portal and open the app from the top toolbar.Â
Sonar Phone: System Requirements
Sonar Phone has some required browser settings, such as enabling microphone and  permissions. Â
Supported webbrowsers:
- Google Chrome (best)
- Microsoft Edge
- Mozilla Firefox
Your call quality will depend on your internet connection and browser settings. Wired or strong Wi-Fi connection is recommended. Test your internet speed, or learn how to Test Your Internet Speed for Optimal Performance to ensure call quality.Â
Start taking and making calls with a few simple steps:Â
- Log in to the Sonar Portal with your net2phone Canada Credentials.
- Click the SONAR Phone link in the top-right corner.
Success! The Sonar Phone Interface will pop out in a new browser window. - Grant Browser Permissions.Â
The net2phone Sonar Phone app will only request necessary permissions for functionality. Â- Accept the browser permissions for your microphone to allow calls.
- Choose your input and output audio device (built-in speakers, microphone, or headset). You can set your audio output and your audio input to be from the same device or a different device.Â
- Accept the browser permissions for your microphone to allow calls.
- Grant Notification Permissions to receive incoming call notifications.Â
