You may have heard the term quality of service or QoS when looking into your VoIP system. So what is it, and why does it matter? QoS is a configurable setting within a router, firewall, or other network software that implements the prioritization of voice data packets. With QoS enabled, your internet will appropriately "steer data traffic" to your VoIP phones and computers.
