Manage Time Frames

As an Office Manager in Sonar, you can manage your organization’s time frames, including viewing, adding, editing, and deleting user-specific and shared time frames.

How to Access Your Organization's Time Frames 

All users can access and create personal time frames, but only Office Managers have permission to manage shared time frames, including editing and deleting them.

  1. Log into Sonar with Office Manager Credentials.  
    You will be automatically redirected to the Manage Organization view of your Sonar portal. 
  2. Click the Time Frames tab.

Within the Time Frame main page, you can use the interactive table to filter and find the user or extension numbers you want to configure. 

Interactive Time Frame User List 

On the main Time Frames page, you will find an interactive table displaying your organization's users, their associated extension numbers, and their time frames.

Find a User's Time Frames 
Use the search box to enter a user's name or extension number. 

Hide Users Without Time Frames 
Enabled by default, this checkbox hides any users without time frames enabled.  

Hide System Users 
Users are the extensions on your system; system users are users associated with queues, auto attendants, and other system features. 

The interactive table consists of 4 columns, from left to right: 

Owner 
The creator of the time frame. 

Extension 
Associated extension number with your UCaaS system. 

(Amount) Time Frames 
The number of time frames utilized by the user. 

Actions: Add, Edit, Delete 
Three buttons on the rightmost side allow you to:

  • add a new time frame for the user,   
  • edit existing time frames for the user, and, 
  • delete time frames for a user. 
 

Add a New Time Frame 

Add a time frame for a user by clicking the Add button for a user, a popup configuration menu will open. Learn how to Create a New Time Frame

Edit a User's Time Frame 

If you click the Edit button for a user, you will be redirected to the user's time frame list. All shared and personal time frames the user's extension has utilized in the past are listed. Here, you can edit or delete specific time frames for a user. 

Delete Time Frames 

If you click the Delete button for a user from the main user list, you will be prompted to confirm you want to delete ALL the user's associated time frames. 

If you click the button to delete time frames within a specific user's time frame list, you will delete the individual time frame.
